I have the WiFi set up at my house and I am connecting properly as I see the name of my wireless network at the top of the screen on my Storm2. When the name of the wireless network appears at the top of the screen on my device, does that mean my browser will automatically use the wireless network?

In other words, I guess my question is "Does the phone automatically use the wireless network even when I have the 3G network available, or do I need to manually disable my 3G network to be able to access my WiFi"?

The reason I am asking is that browsing doesn't seem all that much faster on WiFi. The WiFi I have at my house is lightening fast so I know that's not the problem. For some reason, I am thinking that my Storm2 is not grabbing the wireless...it's grabbing the 3G so I want to know if I need to disable the Verizon network to ensure that my phone is grabbing the WiFi signal instead.
