    Hey,

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 from AT&T with no data plan. I'm having troubling connecting to WiFi both at home and at school.

At home, it finds my connection, but I get the "pin" screen asking to put the pin number in my access point and I'm not sure how to do that.

I have the password for the router, and its WPA/WPA2 protected but thats not a security option when my BB asks me what security the wireless network has.

Sometimes I receive the "Failed to obtain an IP address" message also.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

i had the same problem on my home wifi (DI-524). switching to WPA from WEP ended up being the fix. i also manually keyed in the IP addy, subnet mask, etc.
