I got the BB 8120. I have called AT&T about 4 times regarding the WiFi connection. I have a grey wifi at the top of my screen but can't get it to turn blue even when I am connected to a network and have signal from that network. Any ideas? Do I have to get the BB package? That is what AT&T is trying to tell me.

There are multiple radio receivers in your Pearl. The network and wifi are normally operated at the same time.
If you have subscribed to the service, your device should use Wifi when available, but fall back to network if you move out of the range of the Wifi signal.
BlackBerry uses UMA technology to switch between network and Wifi. Depending on the theme, you should be seeing UMA/uma on the display. That tells you Wifi is being used.
