    So the wifi fix has been completed on RIM's end, and all I needed to do was re-register from the Host routing table, after calling them back about my open ticket.

    I have the $29.99 data plan, and I know this wasn't working for this plan, only the plan for $44.99. Those that switched to the $44.99 plan can revert back if need be.

    Works for me. Did nothing. Had talked to VZ and RIM last night with an open ticket, and today it just began working. I turned off VZ and got email, GoogleTalk, and surfed. Awesome!

    Scratch that. My wifi symbol is now OFFICIALLY working. Its lit up white now. Appreciate this topic. Good looks OP

    You are connected to a wireless network(gotta ask), assuming you are go to options>advanced options>host routing tables>BB menu button>register now, after that you may have to do a *228 option 1(but you shouldn't have to)

    Its about time. Wifi grey symbol and my calendar entries was the only thing frustrating me. Now I have to figure out how to make all my calendar entries on default calendar.

    curious, how do you have your phone use wifi instead of the data plan?

    will it automatically use the wifi connection first if there is a connection? or do you need to set it somewhere to override data connection?

    no it was working, it just didnt work with RIM data. Mine worked day one for browsing (I believe, cause I cant tell if its using that connection, but said it was connected)

    still dont know how to tell if its using the wifi or not. it could be a trick lol

    Mine is now working. Originally only Browser worked and WiFi was grey. Just Re-registered and WiFi is white. Shut down Radio and tried BBM and it worked!!

    Update: Push email is working as well, Nice
