I just got the blackberry pearl flip 8220 phone and went to a local hotspot (the library) to try out the wifi and nothing happened. My wifi was turned on because it was doing something unusual (to me) in the upper left hand side of the phone. Why couldn't I connect to the internet?

Does anyone know how i can use Facebook with TMobile, Facebook says it not set up for TMobile.

You may have a problem if you don't have the BB data plan. If you don't have it try installing a 3rd party browser.

I have installed Opera per everyone's suggestions. How do i know if its installed correctly?

Connect to a WIFI network, open opera and click the menu button > settings > network > select WIFI and save. now try browsing the web.
