    Can anyone tell me why when checking my email wifi works fine but when using the web it runs edge service? Is their a way to change this?

    Using those recommendations, I am able to disable the mobile network and use Wi-Fi to browse the web.

    i think if you are using the Media Net browser, it defaults to EDGE for connection, the the other browser, labeled as such, will use EDGE and WiFi, going to wifi first if its available.

    I would recomend the Opera Browser as it can be set to WIFI mode seamlessly
