I was thinking about buying this app, but had a question before i do so. If i don't have the data plan (I have AT&T), would I still be able to use the WiFi for this app? I understand the browser has certain restrictions if you don't have the data plan, but does this program have them also? If anyone has had any experience with this, or has an answer, it would be appreciated.
I have the app and I can tell you that a data plan is not only not required but the phone's browser has nothing at all to do with the app. You connect to your wifi network and run the app. The app will give you an IP address that you enter into the browser of a PC that is connected to the same network. The app acts as a file/web server with a flash based interface and allows two-way file transfers via the PC's browser.
