I seriously doubt the phones CPU would do data transfers across the LAN at those speeds.
But, realize that, just because the WiFi connects @ that rate, you are limited to the speed of the internet connection.
I have a 1Gbps ethernet card in my laptop. My home network switch runs at 1Gbps. My WiFI connects @ 54Mbps. But, because of where I live, the only internet connection I get is 1.5Mbps (DSL). So, while my data rate on WiFi says 54Mbps, I'm only going to be able to surf from my BB @ 1.5Mbps.

Also, Bold 9900, a wireless-n device cannot connect on N, only G and at 48Mbit.
Why can our Blackberries not establish full G connections or N connections?11-27-11 03:53 PMLike 0 - i don't haz my own internet since i moved, i have free internet over here lol.
only 2/3 bars but it would let me do the job. i know it's bad, but hey their own responsibility. but sssht!
and it's oke pairing with my 9900 and i see no problems, only that i kind of steal their internet which is actually given free to me.
would be awesome when i stream and it lags on their side. priceless..
At least don't brag about it!
