    About to get my 9700; anybody know if I will be able to make wifi calls on AT&T? Was thinking it can also be handy when I am overseas (if unlocking).
    If you can, what will be the best way to handle it?

    You can't sorry. The carrier needs the back end hardware for this to be enabled, which AT&T doesn't have.

    Pretty much, it's also highly doubtable the AT&T version will even have UMA enabled at a hardware level. Even unlocked if AT&Ts network can't handle it then it's not going to work anywhere, sorry
