I realize that the 9360 doesn't have Wifi, which is unfortunate. But I was wondering if this could be addressed with a future firmware or software update? Is the current 9360 capable of receiving wifi and it is just blocked, or would it need some kind of actual hardware addition?

    Thanks for the help.

It's a hardware limitation AFAIK. I don't think RIM will pull an Apple on us (like on the Touch 2G when they unlocked bluetooth a year later)

No, but a software update can add a neural implant to your 9630.

gotta be careful with those firmware updates... did one a few weeks ago and it made my keyboard AWERTY instead of QWERTY... I tried to fix it with a German OS and it went to QWERTZ, I gave up and just installed OS 3.0... gave my 8900 3G!
