    MP4 is a compatible format, but it is possible that the audio may not be encoded for the device. Does it do this on ALL MP4 files or just certain?

    Even if it does run on the device, would a PXA272 312 MHz play it effectively?

    As far as AVI and WMV, those are NOT compatible formats for video on the device.
