No matter what headphones I use I can only hear the sound out one side. I even connected it to the AUX of my car radio and could only hear it out one side of the car. What is the solution for this problem?

Take it back to the store and have it replaced. The audio jack is broken.

Are you using any kind of adapter? Many people get the wrong adapter and it fits fine but will only output in mono or one side.

The headphone jack on the 8830 is very particular. It requries a 3pole adapter & the ones they sale at radioshack don't work. If you do a quick forum search on here you should find where people have posted sites that have the correct adapter. I've also read that Verizon stores usually keep them in stock.
