Yesterday, i changed the the SIM card in my BB to another network provider. The phone asked if I wanted to replace the phone no with the no of the new SIM and I said NO. At that point I removed the new SIM and put the original SIM. I tried to shut down the phone but a message came up that I have to clear all data before i could put off the phone which I did. after this, the phone refused to switch on till now. so I thought the battery could have drained off. iI have been charging the phone since yesterday but the X sign keep appearing on the battery sign that appear on the screen. please help resolve this problem.

Have you done a hard rest? Remove either SIM card and reset it. Then try charging it. If it works, turn off and insert one of the SIMS.

    Maybe try a different charger.

The red X mean that the phone is plugged in, but not charging (even though it might actually be charging).

What did you do to "clear all data"?
