    I think one of the prongs on the usb port is broken and it won't charge when i put in the USB plug. When I look in it i can see there is a goldish color and on my other pb its not on it. Therefore, i just assumed it broke off somehow. But I need to find a way to get it charged because i have files on there. I heard of charging pads but can't seem to locate any. Any suggestions?

    If it is in fact broken, the only suggestion would be to open your phone and replace the connector. This requires soldering skills but it shouldn't be too hard. Or get it repaired by someone who knows how.

    Its not a phone its the playbook tablet. I've heard of charging pads but unsur of where i can purchase one.

    I use the official BlackBerry PlayBook charging dock. It uses the magnetic pins ans charges super quick. http://m.ebay.com/itm/361251292370?nav=SEARCH
