Just wondering...
I mean, i'd like 8900 way more than the 8500 series. The 8900 series looks way more professional than that one. All the other carriers are getting both, why not verizon?

Because we got the Tour. True, it doesn't have WiFi, but it gets 3G. And VZW should be getting the 9650 Essex - a Tour with a trackpad and WiFi.
