My phone starts up but the date and time is incorrect. It always goes back to 5th June 2015 after restarting, and only updates time when an internet connection found (via mobile carrier of wifi).
maybe CMOS battery is out of energy? or it is coded in OS?
if your device is set to sync with the internet, and it doesn't have a connection, it'll go back to its last hardcoded date
Kris: how to set my phone to not syn time on the internet? I went to Clock Settings -> Date and Time Settings -> Turned off Set Date and Time automatically. But after restarting, my phone comes back to 6 June 2015, 03:04 T.T
Why would you not want your phone to sync time? You'll have issues with secure sites if time is too far off, or just have a device with the wrong time in your pocket.
The device is configured to pull it's time from the carrier network or an NTP server. The only reason people generally turn off time sync is for travel when they need their home time on the device.
