    right before a red light shines on the right top corner. i tried taking the sim , battery . and even the back part of the phone and nothing works

    Hmm, I would say plug the device into your PC, open BlackBerry Link, and do a factory reset. Can't see any other options that you haven't tried.

    I'm presuming it's either a Z10 or Q10

    It's funny that I've owned many BlackBerry 10 devices over the past 3 years and I've never had any issues and it's weird to see people on the forum here having issues.

    Hopefully the Factory Reset fixes your issues. Just remember you will have to re-enter your BBID

    It's a very good chance that you have a bad battery. When these Lithium Ions go bad, it can cause things such as sluggish phones to phones not even turning on. I have experienced both.
