Have you tried restarting the device? Has the device been exposed to moisture or been dropped? What BlackBerry is it?

He used his PC/Mac? Or he's on a Passport, Classic or some other BB with both a touch screen AND pkb and the on screen keyboard still works? Would it surprise you to know I mostly browse (and moderate) CB from my computers? (PCs at the office and Mac at home)
