Why is Kevin still referred to as CB or Crackberry Kevin?

    He left.
    Doesn't use a BlackBerry.

Not trying to be mean but just odd that's all.

As one of the founding members of this site, and one of the people who helped catapult it into a 3 million plus member mecca for all things BlackBerry, there will always be a connection between him and this site. As much as it bothers an infinitesimal fraction of its 3 million plus members, Kevin's name is synonymous with CB and by extension BB.

Kevin got promoted. I think the majority of us want to grow in our careers. And if a former POTUS can still be addressed as"President" and a doctor can still be called Dr even after retirement, why should one of the former founders of the site not continue to be referred to and be associated with the site's name?

    Seriously, the bitterness is ridiculous.

The founders of the site will always be the founders. Kev got his duties expanded, whether a promotion or simply extra workload is irrelevant and he has a wedding to plan in his domestic life, so it is no surprise he has delegated the day to day operations to Bla1ze.

What is more surprising is that you think it is appropriate to resurrect a fading 6 month old thread just for the purpose of taking another jab at Kevin.

Back to the original topic, Kevin himself says he uses different devices at different times. Many of the mobile nations crew does. It helps them speak intelligently about what's going on in mobile in general and how devices compare etc. And deep down, he's a tech nerd. Many of us here are. Between work and home, I'm now carrying a Z10, 5s, iPad mini, Kindle Fire and Lumia 1020. I just like to okay with gadgets and need to for my job. These guys are the same.

Rene Ritchie of iMore is pretty knowledgeable about BlackBerry 10 too

Point taken. No longer are they nuts about BlackBerry. They no longer live, eat and **** BlackBerry like they used to.
The old days are gone and the future of BlackBerry consumer cellphones is still in question.

I hope the glory days return. Someday.
