some are work phones as well as some people have the spouses phone on their account.
I have to carry a Blackbery for work, but on it, the office does not permit access to BB Messenger, allow me to install any third party Apps, and I can't view many sites on the browser that they see as non-work related (ie. Yahoo, AOL, or Hotmail accounts, Youtube, KodakGallery, etc.), so I have another Blackberry for my personal use.
Heres why: YouTube - Ludacris feat. Nate Dogg - Area Codes (Clean) (HQ)
:)
But really I have 2 phones, because one is a work device and is paid for by work, and one is my personal device, which I barely use, but still have it because Im stuck in a contract.
Shao now I understand the video says it all.
I have multiple phones basically because I'm an addict. That and I keep one for a backup and one for different number purposes. We'll call it the "bat phone".
Wifey 2 also.
I'll gradually move into having two (both being personal). I'll want one as a backup (maybe the GSM version of the Storm when it comes out).
I have 1 personal (Bold) and 1 Business (8820) and occassionally a test device to see how well it will work on our BES (could be anything from a Storm to an 8700)
Because I get bored, and I like to many phones!
Sometimes I feel like using my storm-
Sometimes I feel like using my bold-
Sometimes I feel like using my curve-
Sometimes I feel like using my iPhone-
Sometimes I feel like using my pearl-
:D
It All Depends on how I feel, or if I'm Traveling.
Simply put......cus more is better aint it?
Hahaha.
I have the storm as my personal phone, an 8830 for work and for the past week carrying an 8320 that i just repaired the screen and the track ball on making sure it works. so i can have 3 phones on me at one time
Because I'm addicted to phones. Better then drugs right?
1) I like both phones for different reasons. 8310 has bigger screen and
GPS while the Pearl is slighter trimmer and has the better keyboard
of the 2 (IMO).
2) If one fails I can be back up and running in 5 minutes.
3) When doing upgrades to the OS I switch the SIM card and
still have a working phone.
I have to have different phones for work, but my Blackberry is my all in one device: Work. Play. Everything. I also have a few backup Blackberries just in case something happens to one of my current phones.
Both my Bold and iPhone 3G are personal phones. I swap my SIM when I feel like switching it up. Some days I want my Berry and some days I want my iPhone. I carry both with me all the time (iPhone as iPod when not active).
Luckily for me, I control the one from work :D
Just for fun I guess, but it won't be for fun next month cause 1 has to go too expensive now, but it won't be my BB:) people ask me this all the time, everyone else I know has 1.
I just got a Storm. I also have a Pearl for work and another working flip phone from a previous job. I also have a landline that I cancelled, but still works. Yeah, I have too many phones...
Because I can :P
Actually one is a prepaid work phone from my last job that I haven't used all my minutes up on yet. I use it for ordering dinner and making calls that I don't want linked to my personal phone #

I want a BB but I don't carry it because I don't want to break it at work. I carry a MilSpec phone for phone and text. I get ribbed about it now and then too.
You would be surprised at how much some of the BlackBerrys can take. Get yourself an 8703, and while it isnt rated 810F, i have seen them get run over and still work. (the screen was dead, but it was able to make/receive calls)
My work phone is a Sprint, Family is on Verizon. So I have a Curve as to not run the Family plan out calling with my work phone. I travel alot.
My 8900 is my my phone and it gets used for my work and sicial use. The 8310 was my main phone but now has a pre-paid SIM card in it for when I visit my family in the UK.
The 8100 is kept just because I like it.
I carry 3: one for me(8330) one for my SAR team(i580) and one for Red Cross(i710)for my after hr's on call disp. And a belt....lol....I love it when all 3 go off at once.....
Oh ya HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
