I had the q5.. most under rated phone ever. It is really awesome. I thought the passport would be better in Every way. It isn't really. The passport is nice, and it is my main but the camera focus ( software or hardware I don't care) sucks.

Forgot what I was answering in this thread.. passport is good Q5 is good. BlackBerry needs a reliable way to back up clash or clans on google play.

I must say I am so happy that my Z10 like my 8100 and 9100 has been a perfect phone so currently I am now out of contract and thanks to the Z10 being such a great phone I have no desire to buy anything

I stay with my Q10! The best phone ever.
I dont like the new style BB10 devices.

Got a Classic but its too big(thats why I think the Passport will be toooooo big as well) and I dont like the nonremovable battery on both. I need this option for my business use!!
I dont have time to charge my phone with a battery pack on the go

You may ask what is too big on the Classic? The toolbelt - it takes some extra cm to reach the touchscreen..thats a lot for me i use the word input/auto correct options A LOT and thats why I have to touch the screen very often.
The Passport- too wide for me.
My dream device- a Q10 with touch PK. (4row QWERTY, same size, materials, amoled, removable battery, hdmi, easy access to SD Card...)

I loved my BlackBerry Torch and that's just the thing, to me that is when I felt introduced to the "touch-screen" typing. It became something that started to feel comfortable that I was mostly using that virtual keyboard more than I was using the physical one.

As much as I hyped up the BB PP to my colleagues and friends plus complete strangers anywhere I went, I felt disappointed somewhat in the PassPort; I think what happened was I had jumped on the band-wagon early on based on the looks and size, I thought it would be something I could use as an everyday person and feel "okay with-it". But the more I saw them and asked those I came in contact with to play with it, it just didn't feel right to me. I'm sure that's because my hands are small and what not, but I even lost the appeal feelings I had built up. It had nothing to do with features and specs', it just started drifting away for some reason.

It's been 1 year and 3 months for my Z30 after the Z10 I bought on release day crashed and burned. It took me some time, but honestly, replacing how the Z10 felt, I think 99% of the people on here and more than likely anyone who is not on CrackBerry would say that the Z10 was the perfect fit for simply anyone. It felt "right" just being in your hands and I miss that, the Z30 hasn't given me that same feeling but I trust my phone now, it feels like an extension of me in a good way. Regardless of what comes next, I prefer feeling comfortable knowing I can rely on my BB device for just about anything I need it for, doesn't have to be all fancy, but something changed my mind when I started seeing the PassPort more and more. So.. yeah, just one of those things I guess?? O_o

Won't be on Verizon, not even available on any carrier in the USA yet, I've come to like my kb on my Z30. I would consider a touch kb one as I think the screen size would be great for surfing.

Simply because there isn't a CDMA version for Verizon. I've love a bigger screen than my Q10, but want a kb too.

My love/hate for the square screen!

I've seen the screen of the Passport in action and it's literally flawless, I love the bright colors and the sharpness... but I watch tons of videos on my Z10 so the square screen doesn't really work for me.

While I applaud the boldness out-of-the-box innovation of BlackBerry Passport, I now refrain from being an early adapter. Did that with Z10 on launch and currently rocking Z30 which is still awesome.

I am sure the 2nd generation of BlackBerry Passport will be much better after they improve on the original.

So yeah, ... gonna sit this one out.

Thought about it. Checked one out at Telus. Great phone but just not for me. Checked our Z30. Same thing...not for me...same story on the classic. as well. My Z10 just fits me...bought it on its release day and it's always done it's job. for me it's the best phone I've ever owned and it's a Perfect fit.
