I have found that by side-loading .apk files of programs that would give notifications on android (eg Outlook for emails, Skype for Calls, MyMusic for songs), you can select them in the notification preferences of Garmin Connect app (you need to side load that too). The notifications come through to the fenix 3 then. Some notifications work ok when the app is closed, but some need to be running in an active frame at least.

Just reviving an old thread.

Fancy a Garmin Fenix 3 can anybody confirm that you can 100% get notifications from Blackberry Passport to the watch.

And if you can could someone just confirm what method you used. I don't have Google play installed at moment.
