one thing u can try is download this app and see if wifi enabled in it , if not then enable it and check again viber if work or not also does other android app wifi connectivity works.

adroid viber app is not working dont even try it . its for android 5 devices where the BB runtime is poor until the 10.3.2 will come ...
until then go to the developer viber and post one star for their amazing app . my it doesn't work even with data on!!!!
So dont worry thats how viber (Does'nt) works on BB!
there exist viber10 as android port+its avilable for 2.3+ but bb version works fine(used) cant tell for apk(dont use that)
