    The thing is, our BBM messages can only be decrypted on our personal devices. I wouldn't want to compromise that.

    Then maybe allow the hub to send and receive messages from other apps without having to download the apps. I don't like how the apps get access to my phone. I trust BlackBerry more than some new cool apps that my friends want to use.

    Blackberry Messenger can run on Android and iOS, i found a video last year with it actually working between Blackberry and iPhone. I will try to find the website again where it was developed for them and the video so be right back.
