Get the MMS settings from your carrier. Once installed in your phone, you will be able to attach pics on your message.

Probably a corrupt message. Can you delete all of your messages? I know this sucks, but if there's a corrupt message, this will get rid of it. Before this though, make sure your carrier settings are correct.

I've heard of and experienced this issue as well. I've managed to fix it by deleting any previous text conversations with a contact, then starting a new conversation. Then I have been able to attach a picture. I can't remember who suggested this fix in the forums so can't give credit (sorry!) but it has worked for me.

Check your plan with your provider! Do you even have a data plan or u just running off wifi? Could also be the wrong sim card, had that happen before

I've had this issue also. It only happens when I restore a conversation from a backup.
Have to delete the conversation and create a new one in order to attach pics.
If you haven't restored a conversation from a backup, deleting the conversation and starting over should still work.

That may explain why I had issues as well - I always restore conversations (in the work I do, it's important to keep a record of all correspondence.) The backup procedure may be the issue.
