You probably want to say "until all websites change to a new standard that is not supported by the bb10 browser."
The browser will work as long as the phone works and the battery is charged.
I have a BBOS phone from 2008 and its browser still works.

Yes they killed by themselves, everyone else just played around ur bad decisions nd lack of innovations.
When bb10 launched u knw why app dev dont come? Coz there was never been a code for running app in background unless its opened in a square tab. Coz I own a dev company nd we didnt made d app coz of tht.
You know how much time it take to rectify and write a code? 1.5 years, yes u cant run app in background unless it is opened or say minimised.
WHY Would I or anyone wish for 'app' to sniff in the background?

    Some early examples here,

I think some apps use it to sync messages and notifications as well.

Apple & Google leveraged resources derived from other activities. Maybe BB needed search engine and desktop divisions...?? Lol.
Maybe Mike Lazaridis thought mobile e-mail was end all and be all when it was merely one component of the computer industry's greatest killer app of all time, the Internet...??

    LOL.

For some reason I was left with the impression that BlackBerry is ditching the pkb after they announced the end of the Classic.
Ironic, because when Chen first took over, took a census and concluded that BlackBerry users most associated the tool belt with BlackBerry.

BlackBerry cannot manufacture any more Classics. This is not news to us who follow CrackBerry. Chen announced a year ago that some (three year old) components of the Classic were not being made, so when the existing stock ran out, they would discontinue the Classic.

He could try and make a different pkb phone, but it won't be a Classic, and most likely, not a BB10 device.

It works, but does it still work well?
Native browser has reportedly been acting up lately:

Hopefully, 10.3.3 should patch things up.

Those were unique to a few users, not occurring on all bb10 phones.
If the browser had issues, everybody's browser would have had those issues, but that's simply not true.
