Lately I'm finding ios to be the crash champion. Random freezing happening on the iPhone.
I think it's realized though and ios 9 will be all about squashing bugs.

Before 10.2.1 is was bb10 for sure.
Bbos, well no need to even state the obvious.

Less exposure to android these days.

Meh... phones lock-up and crash, just like all computers. It's a thankfully rare and easily resolved problem that occurs on all platforms. BB10 won't be immune (or best) if that was the purpose of the thread.

I doubt anyone keeps stats on the number of times it's happened per platform, but simple maths should tell you that it won't be iOS or Android that are the worst offenders. Assuming that crashes are a random happening (i.e. not caused by something such as the BB10.0 restart bug), and dividing the number of crashes by the number of devices out there... then the platforms with the biggest marketshare would have the smallest crash ratio.

Though I don't believe it to be true, even if iOS devices were randomly crashing hundreds of times a day more than BB10 devices, the numbers would show iOS to be the more reliable OS by whole orders of magnitude.

    Maths. It's important.

Definitely Android is the worst of them. Very fragmented OS and even on stock OS it crashes like there's no tomorrow.

Second would be iOS. Every iteration of iOS gets more and more buggier.

I haven't worked with Windows much but the last time I used it, it did crash on me within 30 min.

BB10 is by far the most stable OS. Ever since I own the Passport back in October it has never crash on me once.

From my personal experiences, Android is the champion, with older BBOS following close behind. I haven't used any of the newer Windows phones... and have no long term ownership experience with BB10. Older versions of iOS were the most stable for me, with iOS 7 being the most problematic. iOS 8 has been an improvement.

Everyone will likely have widely varying personal experiences.

Never seen a crash rate article on BB but according to a recent metric the rankings of IOS vs Android are thus.

    1: IOS 7 1.9 %
    2: Android Lollipop 2%
    3: IOS 8 2.2%
    4: Android KitKat/Ice Cream Sandwich 2.6%
