    1. Passport SE.

    3. Too narrow and too long screen. Obsolete keyboard layout. Sliding keyboard. Poor-looking material. Curved display. Inferior OS. Expensive.

    1) What's your current BlackBerry phone ?
Got a passport as my daily driver. And also have a z30 and z10.

    2) What's your reason wanting to upgrade to the Priv?
The APPS. Plus I want to see what blackberry does to the android platform. How the integrate their features.

I currently have a BlackBerry Passport and will be thinking about upgrading to the Priv, I'll wait a while until it's been out to see how it performs, mostly the battery and how the reviews are.

I love bb10 so switching to android will be hard.

Might upgrade my z10 to a z30. Have no interest in Android at all. Really want and upgraded z line. With bb10.

Can't stress enough how much I don't want android.

    I'm on the fence.

Currently on a Z10. It's out of contract now so I can upgrade at any time. Except AT&T doesn't have a BlackBerry that I want. And there's no other model out there that I want either.

The Priv has my attention. I'm just waiting to see how they handle the android OS. And how much they will try to emulate many of the BB10 features - if they try at all.

I have the BlackBerry Z30, which is fantastic, and the Passport Stainless Steel Silver Edition, which is excellent, so I don't really need an Android device.

Posted using my BlackBerry Stainless Steel Passport SE (and I also have the BlackBerry Z30).

Q10/Z30, will likely get a Priv next year, unlocked, when the price comes down. Or a Passport...on the fence. I definitely do not care for Google as a company, but I am curious just how "secure" the Priv will really make Android.

At this point who cares. Has the best of BlackBerry suite. It's a win for many. People want apps and Google Services and it's here now.

Have a Passport. I'm unsure of upgrading.

    Z30 and Note 4

I would consider upgrading but need to know more about what they are bringing to the table as well as the pricing. What's the security benefit and what separates them from everyone else.

Z10 which I've had since BlackBerry 10 launch.

    2) What's your reason wanting to upgrade to the Priv?

Miss the physical keyboard and needs more apps. Plus my Z10 is beginning to die I think, speaker is hard to hear when on phone and restarts every now and then :'(

Still using my Z10 and considering some options.

But my replacement device won't be a company's first venture into the Android world.
It won't be another beta devices.
It won't be a device from a company that says this is there last shot they'll give it nine months.... then I'm stuck with another device that won't get upgrades if THEY fail.

If BlackBerry is successful in their Android venture and goes on to build many more devices... I'll give them a look in two years.

    1. Bold 9900 (I have newer phones, but this is what I use).

    2. Will buy when it's older and cheaper, the bootloader is unlocked, and luneOS has been ported to it.

    3. Won't buy right away because it will be a waste of money, android-based, and sadly, because it seems that nothing will ever improve on my 9900 for doing the things I need to do at work.

BlackBerry has no reason to make phones for "jobless youngsters".

I'm debating between the BlackBerry Priv and the new Lumia phones for Windows. Both look promising, but my criticisms are the same for both. I don't want a giant phone, period. Going past 5 inches is impractical to carry around comfortably.
