Who's doing RIM's rebates now?

Back in July, I purchased a RIM Blackberry HS-655+ bluetooth headset. There was a $20 rebate for the headset purchase, so I mailed everything off about a month ago. On the rebate form, it gives the website rebatestatus.com to check your rebate. So I go there, and lo and behold, I get this:

Effective July 31st 2009, Continental Promotion Group is no longer providing promotional services to clients or consumers.

QUESTIONS

1. Where do I send my mail-in rebate?

Please continue to send the rebates to the address listed on the rebate form. The rebates will be forwarded to the appropriate location for further processing.

2. Will my mail-in rebate still be honored?

All mail-in rebates as advertised are still valid and would be honored with their original terms and conditions. They should continue to be submitted as written for consideration of the promotion.

3. How do I determine the status of my rebate?

Please contact the company or retailer that provided the rebate form directly. They will be able to direct you to a new fulfillment provider.

I've been looking to see if I can find any info as to who will be fufilling the rebate now. I cant find any information from RIM or by google searches. Anyone know who to contact to check my rebate status?

Hope you made copies of sent documents and forms. I think you should be ok but its going to take a tad longer to receive

Yep, copies made. I guess I just wont worry about it and hope it shows up.

You said you can't find information from RIM or Google search. Did you try the vendor that you made the purchased from?

They were no help either. Just said they only sell it, not do anything w/ the rebates and to contact the manufacturer. I even tried getting a message to RIM, and got a email back saying that my message wasnt delivered and to try one of a few methods they had listed. The only one that was appropriate was the owners' forums, and no luck there.

Try vendor or carrier if that helps out.

If you purchased the phone prior to July 31st wouldn't Continental still be responsible for processing the rebate?

When I send in rebates I make copies of everything. And certify the envelope with signature.
