Now we really, really, really need to stay on topic. Even if we fight its better than crossing stuff.

Correct. I'm not the little girl jumping up and down in the front row.

My life does not depend on if Blackberry comes back or not. I used them for quite a few years so am interested in their plight. If it happens it will not happen overnight.

I may even....hold on now....pick up a used Q10 to play around with. I have no allegiance to one brand. If I can find one for $200 or less that is. I wouldn't pay more.

    With all due respect sir...

And who will tell YOU to stop the rubbishing? LOL...

No offense, but if you don't use BlackBerry then it's not up to you to decide. It's up to the actual users.

Let's go back in the way back machine more a moment....

Who decided that Apple was finished? Who decided that they weren't?

I can easily give you links from the nineties spelling Apple's doom. Wired is a great example.

Can you send me a link outlining Apple's comeback from the grave?

I'd love to see it if you can post it here. Trust me, I've looked for it and I can't find it.

You're a better person than me if you can find it.
My point was BBRY's future in in their hands (as it was with apple). They alone have to take the actions to transition from loser to winner.
I am not rubbishing, I'm just very disappointed at many recent management decisions.
As an ex blackberry employee I feel I have a right to express an opinion in these forums.
Ps you have no idea which phones I have used or currently possess.

Maybe I should be tarred and feathered along with the lying, evil salesperson.

You're absolutely right in expressing your opinion, especially as an ex-BlackBerry employee!

Apologies if I came across harsh, we're just having an argument!

    Cheers.

He might be right though. She might be just doing a job and not be invested in it in any way.

So does that make her "uneducated and sad"?

How about sadly uneducated, is that better?
If she worked for me and didn't change/improve after re-training I'd fire her without malice or prejudice.
Would you sell BlackBerry in store?

    That's the real problem.

You should actually listen to yourself.

If you read what he said it makes sense.

I'd fire her as well if she didn't change/improve after re-training as well! No doubt.

How many chances should you give an employee?

That could be seen as a failure of the manager.

No, not for an individual employee it couldn't. Sorry, but no, it wouldn't be seen that way.

If a number of employees were underperforming?

Then YES, it would be seen as a failure of the manager.

    Otherwise? No.

Since the warning was ignored and the personal stuff has been continued, this thread is now closed.

This is unfortunate for those who were trying to have a legitimate (if "animated") debate.
