Will be out in Canada in two weeks so yeah, they should be bombing all types of media with Z30 Ads. A Roadshow would also help and trade in promo.

There are about 200k views on YouTube for Z30 and 14m for Moto X.

    Get viral.

A week before they arrive in the stores in each area would be good. Something like, " the big dog on the porch will arrive on, the date ". Any other suggestions?

Well... the device is out in the UK but so far I haven't seen a single ad, TV spot or well anything... anyone in the UK seen anything?

My theory (and people have rubbished it so feel free to do the same) - this is the last BB10 device and unless someone buys the company and changes direction, they are simply trying to off-load what inventory they have before exiting hardware - so they will not spend significant marketing money on it because they need it to grow services.

BBRY marketing is going with the same exceptional marketing plan they used for the Z10. Because if you want to run the company into the ground, what better way?

Why waste valuable money on advertising at this point? The stock market and media will just counter attack any ad campaigns. Allow BlackBerry to become an elite product like it was before.

Sent from the future on my Z10.

No need for ads. Most Z30's will eventually wind up on Woot or Ebay and those prices sell themselves.

With what budget shalt I add do they advertise with without affecting their Cash position? Of course not burning cash enough and bleeding is also not helpful but who knows. If they advertise[hemorrhage instead of bleed], they may not last more than a 1yr.

BlackBerry should try to get Duck Dynasty to endorse the phones
Sales would skyrocket in the USA.

It shows that BlackBerry has probably given up on the Z30 and expects the blogs to do all the marketing for them.
The launch is ill timed with the impending news of a BlackBerry sellout.
The z30 should have been shelved IMO until they were clear of what they needed to do with bb10.

So spending 100 million for an ad campaign is worse than writing off 1 billion in phones. I can see why they are not selling. That pathetic Super bowl ad was a waste. They simply have no clue how important GOOD ads are.

Every dollar they don't spend on advertising is one more $ in the pocket of the new owner when they take over . Rodgers isn't going to carry it, they may know something like BlackBerry is going back to keyboard only phones for corporations and government use mainly. And giving up on full touch. Limited production of the Z30 . The Z30 os10.2 and current apps a year ago might have been enough to keep BlackBerry above water.

Good effective ads make you back more money than you spend, that's a fact. Apple and Samsung and others prove this every day, and you don't have to have the best product.
