No USA carriers want to carry any BBMo/TCL VKB devices so there’s no point in making them. The Key2 LE has been through quite a process and expense to certify on VZW compared to Key2 not getting official certification.

Your best option is to get the Android VKB Flagship of your choice and install the BBSuite for now. This isn’t the old BB losing money going down in flames.

Why not make the Evolve available in the US for those who do not like or want a PKB device? It would open up additional sales and not just focus on what does not sell in the North American market but add a proven device based on the successful sales from another country.

Has the Evolve been a success in India? (optiemus and bbmo are two different companies)

What would it cost to add the additional bands to the phone?
What would it cost to do the FCC regulatory licensing?
What would it cost to order components and to expand production and delivery channels to North America?

If there were money to be made... TCL would bring another SLAB to North America.

You'd have to ask India's Optiemus Infracom - it's their device.

They'd have to make another variant for NA's LTE and GSM bands, and then get BBMo to sub-licence it.

I'm sure BBMo would do far better selling their own device, but have apparently determined that the market isn't there.

only work around is getting the BlackBerry Hub+ services with the "BlackBerry Manager." BM is downloaded online which gives access to BlackBerry keyboard
