I managed to damage the pins in my SIM card slot to the point of my phone not reading anything I put in there.

I've called around to local (Chicago-area) phone repair shoppes, none of which say they can repair it.

Is there a service you know of, official or unofficial, that accepts this kind of work? Money isn't too much of an issue, I'd just like to get this device working again desperately.

Didn't you think that it might be a good idea to tell us what phone you have?

How else do you expect anyone to help?

Depending on the phone, it just might not be worth it to pay a shop to do it.

The current BlackBerry 10 phones can be had for pretty cheap from the marketplace here or other retailers.

My z30 was a lost cause, replacement tray was $2 but no shop I talked to said it was worth their time, especially since they said it's. Very likely to redamage new pins while soldering original is put in place with micro solder connections and hard to replicate on some devices, older bigger trays were easy
