When I download 3rd party apps I'm never given an option on if it should go to the device memory or to the memory card. Is this something I have or should have control of? I'm concerned about the device memory getting full. Thanks.

You can't install applications to the Media Card.

You could save it to the media card by initially saving it to your desktop and then transferring it to your media card via mass storage mode by hooking your bb up via your mini USB. You cannot run apps off of the memory card. They must be saved on your device memory, so putting them on your media card really doesn't do any good for freeing up memory.

there are 2 types of memory we are looking at here

    a) the media card memory - this stores your pics, vids etc

    b) the device memory - apps, themes go here
