when I bought a broken 8520 (LCD was cracked) I bought a new one on ebay. Beware though, if its like the 8520, there was 3 or 4 model numbers (could be wrong, seen as the 8520 is pretty old now!)

go with where homer said if your in the US. This actually surprised me in the difference in how much the parts are cheaper here in the UK! Its 15 for an LCD here, which is are $30 (Around that anyway) and I cant find anywhere on eBay US or the site that homer suggested that sell them for less than $50!

EDIT: Just used XE to see the actual difference in price. Its $25 here in the UK!

they have alot more internal parts than dealsishop.com. but i have only used them when necessary. if you can get the same part from dealsishop, dont waste the time getting it from cnn.cn. shipping can take 10 or so days if not more. but i have used both and never had issues with either one.

RIM doesnt brand their own parts anyways. the company that supplies them with parts could be the same one supplying these vendors.
