If they were made in North America that would be a chance for BB to promote them as such.... Given a choice I always buy American.... It would separate them from the rest...
My q10 was made in north America, Mexico.

Bet you thought you thought you were asking a simple question and would get a simple answer. Never on Crackberry.

No... I love the different perspectives.. That is the beauty of Crackberry..... I am just glad it didn't trigger another "I hate Apple rant"...

It's kind of funny.... as a Canadian, I can't buy a BlackBerry made in Canada in Canada but if I go to the US, I can buy a BlackBerry made in Canada. I've tried many, many, many times. Even to the point where I've had store reps pull out every device in stock just so I can look to see where it was made. It never used to be that way but since the release of BlackBerry 10, for whatever reason, that's how it seems to work out.

That is crazy. I wonder why? I am doing my part to help the Canadian economy from America. I have a Z30,Q10, and a Q5 on the way.

Even though I am using a Galaxy Note 3 right now!

I was wondering if they are made in China like everything else?
Well when you ask "Where are Blackberries made?", I take it to mean where they are assembled.
The original box where both my Z10 and Q10 came in clearly state the following...
"Handheld made in Mexico 5 for RIM Canada." "Accessories made in China."
So I would tend to believe some of the parts and accessories are made in China, then shipped to Mexico where the the devices are assembled.

Check the box, or the label under the battery.

My Z10 from Costco was built in Canada. My Z30 from Verizon was built in Mexico. All of my BBOS phones were from Mexico or Hungary. Interestingly, both Storms I bought were built in Hungary. The one without the cracked screen has survived my usage and the usage of two teenage boys for over a year each and still works!
