Hi,

When you guys r not using ur BB, what do u do with it... Do u place in standby (by hold mute button) or do u just do a key lock......

I'm pulling it out every 5 minutes or so....am i killing more battery by puttingh into/out of standby....

no standby will actually save you battery life
I pull mine out of the holster (same as standby) quite often and find it saves me lots of battery life rather than when I just lock it and unlock it

I usually just do a key lock and depending on where I am I either put it in my pocket or I set it on the desk I'm at. I actually never use standby mode. I'm able to go a couple of days without charging it.

I use the key lock (never use standby) and always have it with me, either on my desk or in my pocket or the console of my car. It's never far from home!

Seems Like I am checking my phone every 30 seconds, so its all about the key lock for me, I do wish that we could change what keys do it. a Double tap of the trackball in a very quick timeframe would help me out.

Key lock if it isn't in my holster. I do check it a lot considering I use this as my main internet device. Its always connected!

I lock the phone and then set it down right next to me - wherever I'm at when I'm not using it.

I set the softkey to auto keyboard lock, if I'm not using it I push that and it goes in my back pocket. I don't want my **** to dial random numbers, its embarassing.
