I honestly can't think of the last time I saw someone using a BlackBerry in the wild. Definitely not in 2018 or 2017. I don't know how far back I'd have to go but it has probably been at least five years or so.

Yesterday at the coffee shop. You obviously don't live anywhere in Canada.

I'm currently at university, in a class of 4 people. I own a silver keyone and another guy has a silver keytwo.
So I guess that means currently 50% of our class has a modern android blackberry. We are both mid 30's and processing on to a cybersceurity degree at the end of this year.
Other than that I have a friend who owns a local toy shop he owns a silver keyone and a guy who runs a local music venue and 3 bars who uses a keytwo le in black.
All this in a small UK seaside town too.

A lot further North I'm afraid. I'll give you a hint though, it's known as the UK's first seaside holiday destination.

    No I'm afraid not.
Although I hear there is an area of Toronto with the same name as my town and right beside lake Ontario.

That's shocking to me. Maybe I just need to look around more.

I'm sure I've seen many thousands of non-BB phones during the same period, but they don't stand out.

The several I spoke with all reported the same use case: professional user for whom email is still the one true killer app on mobile.

South Louisiana. Last fall, there was a woman in line ahead of me in the grocery store. Had a young kid with her, probably 3rd grade. As she paid for the groceries, she placed a phone down on that little check-writing stand. I could see it was a Passport.

It was the first real-life Passport I'd ever seen.

Prior to that, it was probably 5 years ago, I saw a guy pull out a Bold at Starbucks.

I'd have to go back 7 or 8 years to recall seeing any other BlackBerry phone besides my own.

The last BB-branded phone I saw (that I know of) was a Torch, way back in 2014. Before that, I saw a Q10 and a Z10 (in 2013) on BART (the Bay Area commuter train).

BB doesn't get a whole lot of love in the Silicon Valley area, for sure.

Other than my Cobalt Blue Classic? About a month ago I was on a flight from Chicago to Ottawa (or was it the return trip?), and saw a fellow passenger playing with what looked like a BlackBerry Leap.
