I usually erase all my Cache Configuration in Browser Options, then do a SoftReset about every week or until my BB starts acting slow

Soft reset never really as it has little effect on the device. I double soft reset anytime my Curve isn't running up to par, which varies greatly with usage. A double soft reset has a similar effect to a hard reset (battery pull) with out the harsh loss of power. ALT + left Shift (aA) + DEL, wait for the white screen, and the ALT + left Shift (aA) + DEL again. You will see the hourglass and the restart should take a few minute to complete.

Isn't it ALT+RightShift+Del? Or is it that either shift key will work?

Uhhh, yeah, everybody keeps saying left shift, but on mine it's Alt+Rightshift+Del.

For the 8330, the soft reset is also a alt-(r)shift-del key press.

There's always the reliable battery pull

I soft reset when my me drops below 13. I avoid the battery pull but I'm going to do the double soft reset now. Thanks sinisterjunkie for the advice.
