When 10.3.3 rolls out BlackBerry will be selling less than 200k BB10 phones a quarter

Do you really think we will see a update to bb10 or will they let it die slowly into the night like the PlayBook .When 10.3.3 is launched BlackBerry could be selling less than 200,000 bb10 phones a quarter. Do you think Chen is going to put the time and money into a update beyond 10.3.3 ? I think 10.3.3 will be the final bb10 update especially if the Priv cannibalizes some bb10 sales.

Can a Mod please fix the title please it should read "less than 200k" I used the > and it is showing up crazy on the Crackberry app.

The reason there was such a huge drop besides legacy. They have not released a phone anyone wants. I would be interested in the sales numbers of the z line

I guess everybody would like to get detailed numbers on a per model basis, but that's obviously not going to happen. For example I'd be pretty interested how well the Passport sold exactly, did it meet expectations (which were said to be rather low anyways) or did it completely miss them? What about the Classic, which was the hope as new workhorse device? I have the impression the Classic was a huge letdown for the company and missed expectations greatly.

Yes there will be an update. Don't expect anything more than security patches and maybe some bug fixes. They can't just stop. They have government customers.

10.3.3 has to happen so they can remove the android runtime.

I read in either the Washington Post or WSJ that as of "Sept." 2015 the Classic is the #1 selling BB10 handset. It is the most available model.

Stop it, the runtime isn't going anywhere lol. It just won't see many, if any, updates.

Q3 2015 2.0 million (17 % decrease from previous quarter)
Q4 2015 1.3 million (35 % ...)
Q1 2016 1.1 million (15 % ...)
Q2 2016 800k...........(27 % ...)
Q3 2016 600k (estimate based on previous percentage drops, averaged (24%), and rounded off to the nearest 100k units)
Q4 2016 500k (same as above)

Still, it doesn't look pretty

Your numbers are totally wrong. BB never sold 2.0 or 2.4 mio BB10 phones a quarter. Never!

Yes because if its a Classic, where is the removable battery? where are charging contacts, why is the trackpad so tiny, why why why bla bla bla...thats why Chens Classic is a flop!
