My BB is on a data plan in England and the Wifi works fine at home and at work there. I spend a lot of time in Denmark and use a Telia SIM card to just text and call, no data plan. I can't seem to access any Wifi networks here and I'm not too sure why. I was in Berlin a couple of days ago and couldn't access any Wifi networks (Starbucks, etc) properly to download my mail. I have the grey ghosted wifi symbol and the SSID of the network appears next to the carriers name on the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have searched the forums for answers but couldn't find anything similar as mine works at home in the UK but not here.

    Many thanks

    Luke

Email still requires a data plan, because it has come in via the RIM/BlackBerry network.
