    I've just purchased a Passport from ShopBlackBerry.ca.

    Got a message the same day about initiating BlackBerry Protect, but I hadn't transferred my files from the Q10 yet (including my BBID).

    Now, for the past four days the message is the BlackBerry Protect is not available. Am I missing something?

    Try logging on to the BlackBerry Protect web portal..... remove the Q10.

    Just to close this out...

    After a LOT of emails and talking with BlackBerry and my carrier, where they remotely checked my handset and programme settings, BlackBerry Protect activated.

    Maybe it was my removal of all my devices (thanks Dunt), maybe it was a remote reset command, but I was actually watching the http//: site when the Anti-Theft Protection indicator switched from 'Unavailable' to 'On'.

    Mission accomplished.
