I think most people realize that the iPhone camera is much much better than the camera on the 9930 Bold. One of the big problems with the bold camera is that the white balance of the camera is completely screwed up. You can see it in the comparison shots above.

That doesn't mean you can't get a decent shot with the bold, but it is much harder to do than compared to the iPhone. Here is a picture taken with the bold last Christmas in a fairly dark room at night. Overalln I don't think it is too bad.

I know it would be much better with. The iPhone or even my Razr Maxx which is soooooo much better than the camera on the bold. Attachment 123862

I'll admit you have to work with the 9900 camera, you can't just leave it on Auto, there can be a huge difference between Sports Mode to Auto to Night Mode.

Face recognition works pretty fast and does improve quality.

well i really wasn't trying to 'troll'!!! was just having a laugh because i don't think there's any reason to argue over different devices/cameras, that's all. there's always gonna be a better device and always gonna be people with different opinions. although that's what the original poster intended i guess. don't worry i'm not trying to annoy anyone..i'm a moderator myself! for bingo chat rooms.. bit different, but y'know..

It is worth reposting even though not great pic (though it is nice close-up), only because this is the smartest, most trainable, eager-to-please, attentive cat in the world. He is always rolling his eyes while reading this forum, at the flood of illogic!
