Why is everyone in such a hurry? Who cares how fast someone types? Take your time and enjoy your device. Fewer mistakes and a more enjoyable experience awaits you. Rome wasn't built in a day. Be patient, learn your device, and soon it will be like second nature to you.

Well I'm in no hurry but do realize that people who are running a business sometimes need to be fast to get the account, contract etc. So for some speed is the living.

I'd rather not waste time typing, but I do type a lot. How will a slow keyboard enhance my quality of life?

Those people (hyper typing) use a laptop or a keyboard.

Not if they are on the road visiting clients.

Clearly the OP of this thread doesn't understand the target market BlackBerry is focusing on.

Its aiming for business men on the go who have alot to write (emails, bbm's, pin messaging) and little time to do so.

Therefore, yes there is a rush for them!

so this is an issue? i type relatively fast with my phone (curve 9320) i guess it's just that some people aren't used to theirs yet? if they really need to give answers THAT fast why not try a phone call? sorry. i just don't see this as a "blackberry problem"....

Typing fast is a major thing for hard core BlackBerry users. I for one can type faster on my z10 than on my old bold 9900. I love it and I love to show off how fast I type as well. Iphone users marvel at how fast I can type on my z10. I watch some iPhone users type and I wonder how they get anything done typing so slow. Some of them can't even type with 2 thumbs, i see the 1 thumb typing happening. How do they get anything done? I don't know about you OP but typing fast is a major thing for a lot of us who do a lot of emails and texts everyday. The z10 keyboard is the best on the market today. Nothing touches it and it's extremely efficient for us power users.
