With the G5's modular design coming to market soon, I'm wondering what the next game-changer is going to be with smart phones. My money is on a true edge-to-edge display, with the permanent death of home buttons and the entire front of phones being a touch screen. I've also read about promising developments in wireless charging that could make it so you can wirelessly charge up to 15 feet from a charging pad.

What do you guys think is on the way and will really become the standard moving forward?

If you're a BlackBerry 10 user it is.

I can't wait to see what the new Nexus phones will be like.

Smartphones are constrained by battery tech as much as phones were constrained by resistive touchscreens before Apple used the new capacitive screens to debut the Iphone. So a big leap in battery tech will allow mass production of foldable screen phones or phones as cuffs/bands.
