    Success? I don't know what that means but I paid nothing while got almost everything plus extra features. At least I can keep my wife smile for a while.

    i guess i was saying having those two free apps are a sufficient gps/map applications where a paid one isnt needed since these two do the job so well.

    Im not familiar with garmin, but does it intergrate with your contacts like vz nav? To me, vz nav is like having poynt or where with turn by turn. Also connects with my jawbone to give me turn by turn right in my ear.

    I have used AmazeGPS for a couple of weeks. The voice turn by turn works, but often takes me on side roads that slow down the trip. I have set it on quickest and on shortest. Same result. But it does get me there and it is free.

    Sorry to say but if your going to spend 100+ dollars might as well just buy a normal garmin unit
