Z30, those stereo speakers are something else. I've had quite a few Android devices since but nothing matches the sound of the Z30.

Also the battery still is almost as good as it was eons ago.

what is your preferred Blackberry 10 OS device? I'm looking to get a blackberry 10 OS device to play around with as i never got to use any back in the day... thoughts? suggestions?

Passport was my fav. Least favourite was the Z10/Q10. Z30 was very good too. Never owned a Q5 but I would imagine I wouldn't like it.

1. Passport SE.
2. Passport original.
3. Q10.

5. Z30
6. Z10
7. Q5

Passport SE over the original one due to design.
Passport over Q10 due to the screen size(my eyes do not get stronger with age) and touch sensitive keyboard. I still love Q10, it's handy and removable battery is real advantage.
Q10 over Classic... It's just personal. I felt more comfort while using Q10.
Z30 down there - because I prefer PKB. Otherwise it was good for its time.
Z10 below Z30 - screen size did matter for my tired eyes. And yes, visibly slower than its big brother.
Q5 at the end... I just didn't find its purpose for myself. But if I need the simplest PKB device, I'll probably use it.

Best of them all are Passport SE and Z30.

Also a good choice would be Classic and Q10.

Original Passport and Q5 is meh, avoid Z10.

Q10. Easy to repair. Swappable battery. Perfect size. I tried them all and kept coming back to the Q10.

Precisely what I've allways missed on my Classsic
But the toolbelt...
So Classic for me.
Q10 - 2nd

Besides the physical keyboard missing the IOS experience is a good one. I also have had almost every BlackBerry and the iPhone X will amaze you at what it can do and how fast it does it. You just need to give it time to get use to before making judgment. Blackberry is now Android which is also a good OS but Apple devices work well and a little better than Android does. If you have any other apples devices like a Mac or iPad the X will integrate well with the other items you own.

And... how's the X's battery life?

I very much doubt it'll keep up with a KEYone/2

Not as good as the XR that’s for sure. Battery is what I enjoy the most though with the KEYones. Nothing really matters spec wise if your battery is dead. Running Cruze beats a dead Corvette 0-60 every time...

Classic 100%. Track pad, form factor, size, tool belt ,etc...

Passport SE a close 2nd.


I have and use the iPhone XR everyday, but always (and I mean always) carry my Classic with me. Just the perfect phone for me. For apps/integration.....iOS can't be beat.
