Theres really no such thing as a lame BB. I would say the 85XX series is my least favorite though.

    To each his own..
for me it's the curve, but there are a lot of people who swear by the curve's keyboard..
so again, what may be lame for you may not be for the next person

The first couple of Blackberries that integrated voice/data...the ones that were black and then blue. They were so ugly that I hated even taking then out of the bag to read my email. I was using a personal WM Pocket PC that was, at the time, more advanced than the work Berries.
I currently don't care for the Pearl series. Don't like the keyboard. My favourite keyboard was my 8310, even more than my 9000.

As stated, everyone is going to have their own pefernce. I personally dislike the tour series as I seen no purpose in that being its own line up. It was too similar and not enough difference in the lines at the time. With the bold 9700 coming shortly after, many people like myself just stuck it out till then. It does not mean its "lame", just i seen no purpose in the line itself. As well, I like the concept of the pearl flip, but it should have come out at the populatiry of the first pearl, and be built better. The abaility to read notifications without opening it was very nice.

I think with the latest pearl thou, they finally got it right!

The Tour wasn't intended for people using a GSM carrier in the US (hence the inability of it to use GSM 3g networks in the US), so you're thinking about it wrong. Tour was designed to replace 8830 on CDMA networks. If Canadian GSM networks use the same freuencies the US does for 3g, it wouldn't work there either. It is or at least was the flagship line of the CDMA devices that just happened to have a GSM radio.

I do agree that Tour was lame, but from the perspective that they pushed it to market when they should have just delayed a few months and just released what is now the CDMA Bold, the 9650.

I don't want to rip on RIM and say any phone is lame, but my least favorite is the Storm 9550. I'd rather have an old pearl or curve over that phone lol.

I don't think any of them have been "lame" but the Bold 9000 is the device I disliked
the most. It was just was too large. Glad RIM came to their senses and did not
    repeat that form factor.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of the clamshell design. I've never been a fan of clamshell phones anyway...And really, I'm not a huge fan of the storm. I just have a disagreement with touch screens, really....

...and that's why this argument is pretty pointless -- it's too subjective. I love my 9550, and frankly beginning to wonder what my next device will be if RIM has truly abandoned Sure-Press touchscreens.

Hands down, the 9650. You can disagree, but the phone was a pointless release. It was the 9700. Except worse. And for Verizon. Which is equally bad.
I'll disagree with that. It without a doubt had a point.. To bring the Bold line to CDMA carriers.

It's not a Verizon exclusive either.. There are at least eight carriers that sell the 9650.

Don't get me wrong, it's a decent phone, but I had it for 1 1/2 years and i just had so many problems with it and the clicking screen was so annoying. I was so glad to get rid of it. I like touch screens but not surepress. Also keep in mind the point of the thread is to get people's opionions. Not bash on each other and the phones we like/dislike. So this is just my opinion
