What is your favourite BlackBerry model?
- My trusty 9700 all thoe my 9100 did me we'll also.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com08-18-10 08:00 PMLike 0 - Ive owned an 8310, 9700, and 9800.
Hands down the 9700 takes the cake. I only wish I would have owned the 9000 at some point, it seems to be alot of peoples #1 choice. Would have loved to hear those speakers and type on that keyboard.08-18-10 11:30 PMLike 0 - Best I ever had was the BB 8700, built like a tank especially with the holster that came with it and I never had a problem with it. Then I would say the Bold 9000, it had everything i would have wanted in a phone especially the premium look and connectivity although it failed when it came to memory. I had the curve 8310 and loved the design and the fact that the trackball was so easily replaceable and how you could change the colour of the trackball by placing a coloured strip of tape on the LED. And now I started using the 8900 just recently, lets see how long it lasts.08-19-10 04:27 AMLike 0

Aaaawww, the Schlotzky's in Dallas right close to the weird looking old Mary Kay building!!!! That's where we had the Katrina command center in late '05! I remember that Schlotzky's - great sandwiches!!!!
Yes, I remember the 7290. Not as ugly as the one I had before that one....the one with the weird colour screen/letters....08-19-10 11:34 AMLike 0 - Lotsa love for the 87XX series here too, not my fav, but it's sure up there, I have owned both an 8700c and an 8703e. I even bought the 8703e late in it's life as a backup device for my Storm1 and it served me well and is still in use. I let a CBer borrow it for a few months while waiting for the 9650 to be released, and then more resently I gave it to another mod, so his niece could use it for college. Prior to me owning it another CBer had it. Those things really ARE tanks!08-19-10 11:44 AMLike 0
- jeffhRetired ModeratorGotta echo pkcable's earlier post. My first BlackBerry was a 7250, the CDMA version of his 7290 and otherwise identical. It was indestructible. As a phone and email device only, it hands down beats the Tour. Of course it didn't have a camera or a GPS or a big high-res screen or 256MB of memory. It just did what it was supposed to do, superbly. And the track wheel never had to be cleaned.08-19-10 07:54 PMLike 0

Now and again I take the 7290 out for the day; it handles calls and email like a demon, I don't lose out at all, it is a mobile office.
I'm sure it would solve a lot of people's problems still.08-19-10 08:39 PMLike 0 - Excuse my noobish statement, but what's a trackwheel? I haven't heard of it before aha. Plus my first BlackBerry was a trackpaded 8520.
Posted from my CrackBerry at wapforums.crackberry.com08-19-10 11:19 PMLike 0 - I have been interested in learning more about other models of BlackBerries. I had the 8520 as my first Berry on T-mobile. Upgraded to the 9700 Bold and switched to Sprint's Tour within a week because of problems I had with T-mobile's service. Then used a 8530 and quickly switched back to the Tour. I had endless problems with the Tour and complained to Sprint about these problems and got a 9650 Bold. I had a tough time deciding if the 9650 or the 9700 was better, but decided that the 9650 is. I love the Tour's look and style, and the 9650 continued that style. Looks wise, the Tour wins. Phone wise, 9650 wins. I haven't used very many Berries though. Was looking for input because I enjoy learning about technology, and BlackBerries a lot specifically. So what's your favourites!? And why?
