My first love was the curve 8310 with the rollerball! WhOot WhOot! I then fell in love with the torch 9800. However, my biggest love so far was the torch 9810! I truly love my q10 but will be glad when native apps can do what the torch's native apps did! Then it will get my most favorite BlackBerry of all time.... evaaaa!!

The Pearl holds a place in my heart because it was my first BB. I moved up to the Curve 8900, which was hot. Then to the Storm 2, which I loved, but after 2 years, my thumbs got tired from all that clicking. Then the 9650 - I bought one, sold it and then bought another. The Playbook, which I still have and use. And my most favorite-ist of all my favorites - the 9930. That phone felt great and looked great, too. Mine rebooted a lot - once it rebooted while rebooting, which was odd. Still, I loved it until I accidentally wrecked it by getting it wet. Fond memories of the whole lot of them!

By the way, you know what I think I miss most? Using my BB as a music player while jogging. Not only were they all a perfect size, they sounded great AND you could skip tracks by holding down the volume keys for a couple seconds. That's the sort of clever convenience no one else seems to get right!

New favorite: Q10, cause it just looks so sexy...

The fact that only a tiny minority comes back with a BB10 device as his/her favourite BB of all times is a concern

My favourite BlackBerry was the Style 9670. I loved the design at the time and the colours it came in! I would probably have bought it but AFAIK it was CDMA only and South Africa is GSM only.

Not really when you think about it. It takes a while for most people to determine a favorite and since the legacy devices have a greater history than the BB10 devices. it kind of makes sense.

Those of us answering in terms of "of all time" have used a variety of devices so we have a basis of comparison that a person who has only used a BB10 device doesn't. Nothing wrong with either position but favorite and favorite of all time are different questions,

The Z10 made me switch from the IPhone. So the one I'm using now would probably be my fave.

My favorite is the supertank mighty 9800 torch.

It survives (almost) weekly table drops since 2010-2013..
    Roadside drops..
Waterdiving (in a pudldle during thunderstorm)

And still working despite i couldn't slide open the phone (i have to tape the side so that i don't mistakenly open it or the screen will blackout). Plus the not functioning end call, back button, menu button and volume buttons.

I use this phone crippled for almost a year before moving on to my trusted Z.

Once u go bigscreen, u never go back.

9000 no question. The speakers can probably give z30 natural sound a run for its money.

For BlackBerry OS I'd have to say I loved my 9700 the most. As Q said, it was a total workhorse that never failed me and a battery that I could never kill. But my favorite of all BlackBerry OS options is my Z10. I love it.

I've had many phones since I was a teen (I'm presently 31), and of everything, even the phone I have now, the one I have always had the most sentimental attachment to, my longest running workhorse: the Bold 9650. I still use it for long writing projects, have published a book using it, and still maintain a blog with it.

With all the sale of BlackBerry talk, I finally gave in and have switched to Windows Phone, sure, but even having had a 9900, the 9650 will always be my personal favorite piece of tech. Its got a place in my heart for sure.

My first BlackBerry was the storm, then the 9810 and now the Z10! Favourite would have to be the 9810 because of the choice of two great keyboards. BUT having used the Z10 since Day 1 release, I wouldn't give it up unless the Z30 blows me away.

I'm still learning how to use the Z10 and I am constantly amazed at what it can do.

My first BlackBerry was the Curve 3G, and man, do I love the keyboard. That phone felt great in the hand, plus it could take a beating. Might get a Q5 for the chiclet style keyboard.

I have to say though, I have ALWAYS wanted a BlackBerry Style. I don't know why, but something about it always screamed 'buy me!!'

Plus, you know, the z10 I'm using to type this is pretty freaking awesome as well

As the title says, what is your favourite BlackBerry that you have used? new or old?

    1) BlackBerry Torch 9800
    2) BlackBerry Curve 9360
    2) BlackBerry Pearl 8100

I love my Z10 and am soon getting a Q10 but I feel these should be left out of the reckoning because of the amount of time spent (too less).

Same here. My first BlackBerry was a crimson Curve 8310. I've already written in other threads about how much I loved it and missed using it. That phone is the reason I decided to give the Q10 a chance. I'm glad I did :-).

It has to be my Z10. I loved the 9900 'till I got the Zed and still miss the physical keyboard and trackpad (so much so I bought a trackpad app lol!). But for ease of use, the Hub and overall BB10 OS, it has to be the Z10. I tried my daughter's Q10 and I like it so if needed that would be my second choice. I do like the extra screen real-estate and eerily-accurate virtual keyboard on the Zed though so I'll stick with it.
